So who was it that slept through a 4.5 earth quake Friday morning the 30th of Jan. at 5:25am, and still didn't know about it until hours later when a certain concerned Father, living over a thousand miles away, called to inquire about them. Let me give you a hint, I'm pretty sure that as a little girl she used to laugh at her daddy and say that he could sleep through an earthquake. Look who has the laugh know because he can say his daughter and son-in-law DID sleep through a 4.5 quake. HA HA HA HA

This brings up another question, suggested by Mom, that is beginning to make us wonder; will the two of you wake up when the baby begins to toss and turn or cry. Will you feel it or hear it. I think that this little "quake" demonstration shows that Chalene and Dave need a little help in acquiring the necessary skills to awaken to the slightest sound. Therefore I suggest that the family should start calling them at all times of the night, I think they are OK during the daytime, to help them get in the habit of waking and then going to sleep and then waking again. If Mom and I call just before we go to bed and if Josh calls when he gets up at 5:00am and then Jeremy can call anywhere between, we should help (or drive) the couple into the quick awakenings that is required or deeper in to ignoring the pleasant promptings of their loving family. I'm pretty sure that we could enlist some of their friends in Seattle to go and ring the door bell or just pound on the door at different times of the night, they might find it amusing.

For the rest of us we are still smiling. It makes people wonder what you are thinking or it something has spilled on them or their zipper is down and your just going to smile and not tell them about it. SMILING is great.

Marin really wants to kick those blocks down.

Before I Forget!

So here is a picture of Mom and me in front of Jackson Square!  Le Petit Theatre is behind to left of the photo by the Cathedral.  These other photos are candid photos one of the crew took during dress rehearsal. . . I'm caught emoting oh so well!

That makes me giggle!

Chalene does have a point... family where are your posts?!
Just wanted to let everyone know that my show has been going very well!! I'm sure Mother has talked about it!  Audiences have really loved it!  Last weekend, I had a large group of middle age men who came up to me after the show.  All were dressed like Elvis or something supportive of Elvis, and they said I had the spirit of Elvis!!  It was random, but nice to see that people who never go to the theatre were really excited about the show!
I've also made many a young girl swoon (most in the ten and under range), but it's cute to have parents come up and want an autograph or a picture, and the little ones scurry away!  Other than that, I work everyday and I'm getting ready for carnival season!!  I'm trying to mail off a King Cake so you guys can try it.  Love you all, and hope all is well!!

Note To Family.......

O.K. guys, this is a "Family Blog", that means that family has to post things on it.  Not just Josh, Chalene and Dave.  Although we are wonderful, the three of us weren't trying to have our own blog :) If it stays this way, with the three of us being the only ones who post, we're changing the name to "The 3 Musketeers: Josh, Chalene and Dave, and no one else blog".  It only takes a minute to stop what your doing and type a quick "hello" to the family.  Remember we live 1600 miles away from you guys and Josh lives like 9 million, so the only way we are going to keep in touch and up to date with each other is to blog it baby!  I know you all check your email, so the next time you check it also check the most important blog of the 21st century, ours! There will be serious retribution if you ALL do not follow my orders! I am testy and pregnant and expect to see the wonderful happenings of my family on our Family Blog.  Alright then, I can't wait to check tomorrow to see all of the nice things you have to say about me :)
