Look who has the laugh know because he can say his daughter and son-in-law DID sleep through a 4.5 quake. Will you feel it or hear it. I think that this little "quake" demonstration shows that Chalene and Dave need a little help in acquiring the necessary skills to awaken to the slightest sound. Therefore I suggest that the family should start calling them at all times of the night, I think they are OK during the daytime, to help them get in the habit of waking and then going to sleep and then waking again. If Mom and I call just before we go to bed and if Josh calls when he gets up at 5:00am and then Jeremy can call anywhere between, we should help (or drive) the couple into the quick awakenings that is required or deeper in to ignoring the pleasant promptings of their loving family. I'm pretty sure that we could enlist some of their friends in Seattle to go and ring the door bell or just pound on the door at different times of the night, they might find it amusing.</div><br /><div>For the rest of us we are still smiling. It makes people wonder what you are thinking or it something has spilled on them or their zipper is down and your just going to smile and not tell them about it. There was the most beautiful sunset! The entire market street was lined with Christmas trees along the rooftops.  It smelled of fish guts and pine. Ha Ha. Instead of flowers this time of year they sell beautiful pine wreaths, mistletoe and holly. Ahhh, lovely. Jared had a football game in Cedar city on Thurs. night the 18th of Sept. It could have been better for the team. On Friday night the 19th Cedar played Dixie at Dixie, it was Dixie's homecoming, and Dixie won big so Jared was happier. Sat was the Home coming dance and so here is some pics of Jared and Afton. I will have to have someone show me how to put pictures on so we can show everyone off. This week in the Jer Peterson family goes as follows. Jer started a new job at a boy's home called Liahona Academy. He already has some interesting stories, maybe he'll share a few. He says he really likes it but it can get boring at times. He's used to working hard labor all day long and is finding his ADD acting up when there's not much to do. <br /><br />Gracie just started 1st grade on Tuesday. Her favorite thing is recess. Whenever I ask her what she did in class she gives me short answers, but when Grandma Romberger asks she'll go into detail about everything she did. Moms must not be cool enough to talk to. Oh well!!! Tayler is having a rough time with Gracie being gone all day, but her and Maren are starting to play alot. It's fun to watch. They are all growing up so fast. This will be fun to post pictures and share stories so that we can keep in touch and stay close. As for me, nothing much goes on. I enjoy being home with my kids. Their favorite thing to go do is go to the Library and then go to the water park which is right next door. I'll be very glad when it starts to cool down. It's not much fun going outside in 100+ weather. Next time we go I'll snap some pictures and post them. <br /><br />Hope all is well.
